Denon DP-62L $295

That's quite a nice price for that table and any cartridge of consequence would make it even sweeter.

Stunning rosewood plinths on those guys too!

I bought the DP-60L several months ago and they are very nice. Somebody should be snagging that sucker quick. If the owner had enough brains to keep the box they probably took good care of the TT.

I agree, and besides, it's always nice to have the original box and packing if you have to move it. The 'table is well worth the asking price if it's nice and clean.

Best,

Powerman is picking it up for me thursday or friday. :)

Well, with Kegger's TT and my exactly the same DP-57L that makes three of these in our little SMAC group so far. :thmbsp:

Let us know what the cart is.

Picked up a very minty DP-60L last week off the local CL for 3-bills. The owner babied this beautiful rosewood table and it came with an nice sounding cartridge to boot. Feel pretty lucky to have it.

Two carts, a semi-cheap grado and i'm negotiating the price on a Denon DL-207 low output moving coil cart.

Congrats dnewma04! Glad an AK'er is able to get it!

Where is powerman located?

Scott

Do they Arrow? I have been after one for a long time and your comment is the first I have heard mentioning reliability problems. I'm sure they exist like every other turntable, but would be curious as to what kind of issues they have so I can maybe do a search on them.

BTW, it appears that the original agreement with the seller is now off and he is now looking for a best offer for it. I made an offer, we'll see what happens but I doubt it will win.

I absolutely hate that crap, but we've beaten this horse dead in other threads.

Good Luck, but I bet your out of luck on it.

I suspect I'll be out of luck, as well. I asked the seller if he'd allow me to match the best offer he receives since I was the first responder. We'll see what he says...

That's a bummer, I hate it when sellers do that. But I have to wonder if having the link to the TT posted here is part of the problem? It's happened before. Good luck.

I have a mint DP-60L with original box, manual, both tonearms, etc. The best table I have ever owned!

dnewma04 the comment regarding problems with the Denons may be that
they (or some of them) used a magnetic strip under the plater to regulate the speed. Whether the strip is the fault or the reader I can not say. This is only second hand info so keep that in mind.

I'd put money on this theory.

Posting deals and running up it's virtues like this is like a double-edged sword..........:nono:

By the way, fantastic looking TT (I have one)! I've seen them fetch DOUBLE the current asking price..........

Recent sales on ebay haven't been far off from the current asking price. From 300-400.00 over the last few months.
