Denon DP-62L what is a fair price

Prices of top turntables has been rising. The desirable ones command a premium and the Denons above say 50 are in that group. For that kind of money you can get a very nice table/arm combination when well bought. An example might be the Thorens TD-125 with an SME arm, these are everywhere and some get grabbed at that kind of price or less. But that combination is completely manual and the DP will lift the arm at the end of the record.
Not having all the accessories means you are buying it to use and enjoy and the straight arm will do well with some cartridges so if that is what you want it is probably a fair price. Searching completed sales on the bay shows this is an average price for a very nice unit.

I own a DP-62L w/both straight and S shaped arms. 450.00, including shipping, is a little low, IMHO, for a turntable of this caliber. I purchased one from a friend 12 years ago, for $500.00 in mint condition, and wouldn't part with it for any other turntable. I also own a DP-72L and a DP-45F. A beauty worth an unimaginable treasure!!
