Denon DRA325R Stereo Receiver??

Hi does anyone know if this receiver has enough power to drive my 150 watt HH Scott Speakers? I love this receiver & might buy it.

I had one of those for a while, picked up at the GW for $20 without remote. Nice, solidly built receiver, 40Wpc or so. Should be more that adequate in medium sized rooms for Jazz & Pop.

Just because a speaker says it can handle so many watts does not mean it needs that much to sound as good as it can.

It's a fairly arbitrary figure and, while itt may be able to absorb the rated power without going up in smoke, it may sound like drek while doing so.
