Design Acoustics Model?

I was wondering if anyone here could identify what model these Design Acoustics might be?

Check the woofer on the bottom for bad surrounds. I believe the 10's are foam surrounds. The 8a's that I have are cloth surrounds and not susceptible to foam rot.

Well, I posted a query over on Dollars and Sense and there was zero response so, since the folks on this thread seemed knowledgable i'll just post that seller is asking $175 for them. Supposedly they are in "mint condition"...

Great speakers, but a bit high. I can almost gaurantee the woofers will need a refoam. A buck fifty max. Is the seller the original owner?

The early ones like mine have a pot for the tweeter output on the front baffle, later versions have a toggle on the back. You can definitely tone the highs down if you want. These speakers sound big, in a small foot print. Place them near the wall for better bass response.

Unknown. The seller maintains that they are "in mint condition"...I have read many sources that claim that the woofers would need re-foaming though. I would take the phrase "mint condition" to mean that the woofers would NOT need re-foaming but, the item was listed on Craigslist and the English language takes rather a beating on there.

Seller probably has never looked at the foam on the 10" woofer because it's hidden at the bottom of the cabinet! I always assume speakers need refoam, unless seller states "recently refoamed!"

On speakers with known foam issues, I'd take 'mint condition' to mean that they functioned properly and were in aesthetically pleasing condition, but could still very well need foams replaced.
