That's a great question. It's pretty clear that with the amount of money in play that people will start clawing for it.

Max, the guy who started the campaign, holds the money in his bank account. His original goal was to raise $5000 to give the bus monitor a vacation. It's possible that he could give her $5000 and pocket the remainder.
The parents of one or more of the kids in the video might sue for a cut. The videographer might make a copyright claim.
The entire situation is a frickin' awesome clusterscrew. And people often say that it's the lawyers that start this stuff. :lmao:
