DFW area AK member list

I'm not sure if this is the right place to do this, but I'm sure some one will relocate the thread if not.

So if you'd like to include yourself on the list just chime in and I'll put together a running roll and update as I see new entries. Please include your location if it's not listed in your tag. I'm keepin' it pretty basic for now, but I'd certainly be open to having a more descriptive member entry if you cats wanted to move in that direction. Always open to input here.

Thanks,
Michael

I'm only coming if you have donuts Michael. I'm in Pasadena. And I don't mean Texas.

Yep, right here in Tyler... but getting ready to go visit my sister up in Dallas.

Hi Paul & welcome to AK!

Man, did you grow up in Tyler. I did & graduated from John Tyler High in 1975. :D

Small world. ETLS an AK member lives there right now.

Rome

I was raised in Tyler. I graduated from Robert E. Lee in 1982. My mother taught at John Tyler starting sometime in the late 70s.

Despite my username, my name is Steve and I live in Dallas. Maybe Michael could add me to the list.

Well hell yeah I'll add you to the list, Steve. Thanks for joining us!

So THAT'S what that Vaughan Brothers song "D/FW" stands for! I can't believe it took me 20 years to realize it, being the huge SRV-fan that I am. God, I feel like an idiot... I suppose it's okay though... since I live in C/FV (Connecticut/Farmington Valley).

OK, back to the roll-call...

Ahhh Steve!

Glad to know another Tylerite is here on ole AK! :D

It has grown some, but still you can travel around the city with no fear (almost) of a traffic jam. I grew up in North Tyler near Gentry Pkwy & Moore.

As a kid we walked to downtown Tyler to the Liberty theater & other stores of that time.

South Tyler sure has grown & two of my sibs live near the mall.

Good stuff...

Will be going to Bullard, TX shortly to settle a land deal since my grandmother recently passed.
