I'm in Arlington, but I haven't been posting here: I mostly post in the Klipsch forum, but I've responded to requests here.

I'm planning a get together in the next month or so. See profile pic for my setup.

Heads up...

Marvin Electronics in Fort Worth is closing it's doors.
I went by there just to look at some gear. and the store is almost empty.
I saw some high end Mac gear with SOLD tags on them.

Sad. I grew up on that store

That is terrible news, SB!

When I got the coin I was going to let them look at my Sony. Geesh!

Well, chalk up another plan gone down the drain. I didn't even get to go by there as I have heard many good things for many years about the place.

Up here in Norman, OK - closer to DFW than when I was in Beaumont - I'm Hal and would sooner be a Texan than a Sooner. Don't get out much, but if I make a meeting the lovely Christine would accompany because crusty old bastards like me need a diplomatic corps (and a driver). She has kin there who've been on us to visit, despite having already met me, too. I think she would enjoy being the first female on the list.

lee from rockwall

I'd be much interested but my 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off working in alaska makes my schedule off a bit. Add me anyway! I can probably host in july if anyone is interested to hear what 2k watts feels like... also wil have the new KEF rebuilt and restored back to par with new xovers, tweeters and foam. I do in fact have approval from the significant other even. :music:
