DFW area AK member list

figured id ask here since we all are in dfw area--im new to the dfw area as well as texas and the hobby--besides the few thrift stores on abram and the 2 on arkansas(gw and that vetrans one)and ofc ive discovered traders village --where else if you dont mind sharein your resorces w/ a noob can i go thrift store hunting?

I can't believe no one here has grabbed up the TF-600's up in Lewisville. That ad has been up on CL for a few weeks now. And the price! Seriously? I already have a set so I can't justify the drive.

My business is located in central Arlington and I did the area thrift thing for a few months and didn't find jack squat. Maybe you'll have better luck. Can I get your name to add to the list?

I walked in a pawn shop in arlington, looking for a MP3 player for the gym.
Walked out with a pair of TF 400's....LOL

I may have the opportunity to get a small gathering together on this two weeks off work coming up on between Sat, May 13 - Wednesday, May 23 for a select group of people I dont know. Like I said I live in rockwall and my house could accommodate probably 5-6 folks or so comfortably (maybe more). I only work 6 months out of the year on a 2 week on 2 week off schedule but my summer is being whittled away with trip to schlitterbahn for next hitch and off to school for july-august and kids showing up for 6 weeks. I've never had the opportunity to do something like this and not too sure of the etiquette for putting it together. Pretty short notice for folks but If some might be interested, I'm sure I can put a date on the map like a saturday or something (doesn't matter to me as I dont work when home). The only requirements I could think of is concerning drinking, you would need a driver to take you home. period. I also have a sota comet, but few albums and NO record cleaner as of yet. So if anyone would bring them to play, I suggest someone would need to bring a cleaner also. I am currently at work and have limited access to computer as I work nights and sometimes am in field working so If anybody pm's me I might take a day to get back to you. Thanks all!

you allready did tom-few posts back-my land lord sugessted try the yard sales between grand praire and dallas and look other side of ft worth
 
Anyone up for a saturday meet or other? Trying to figure out if I need to make other plans to hang out on the back porch or the front porch....lemme know if so. I'll make some filet mig-nons on the grill.:D

any 1 know ,yes i know its a oxy moron , of repetuable pawn shops in arlington.
theres alot more in this area than ive ever seen b4.back up north where i was from i had maby 4 pawn's mixed w/ 5-7 thrift's id "browse"
theres a much wider selection here and i wana try to weed out waists of time and gas.
