Digitizing vinyl - so frustrating and tedious I'm about to give up

I use Audacity and Soundtrack Pro on the rare and impossible to find anywhere else stuff.

I use GarageBand and a MIDI keyboard to make music.

Have listened to my recording on some decent headphones now. It appears I definitely need to process these to get rid of more pops and clicks. More experimentation needed
You may find that listening through headphones may reveal the flaws in the vinyl more acutely than through speakers. The need to declick the recording once digitized may be because of this. When I listen to records in real time, its always through speakers where the noise is much less bothersome. On the other hand, ripped vinyl, for me, is almost always through headphones or IEMs.

Yes, it sounds flawless through speakers. The issue is through headphones only and generally only with used vinyl.

Just a hits album or two is all, but not the original releases, of which I was referring to. The pic of the CD I made was from an original release, of which there was a mono and stereo release (I did both).
I understand and you did a great job . I just remembered that the DC Hits package had just been released .

By the way , you did a great job .
