I would do this. Sounds like you have some line noise. Maybe, check all solder points and connections are good. Deoxit on connectors?

Interesting, maybe its a Sanyo thing.I was just checking out a Sanyo 825d that I picked up, it has the same noise.
More than likely it's an age thing. If it has capacitors they need to be replaced. I just rebuilt the power supply for my Delphi. Nothing is immune to the ravages of aging... especially capacitors.Interesting, maybe its a Sanyo thing.
