Do you absolutely love your stereo?.......

Actually I felt the same way about many systems I owned, from my Realistic 45 wpc Reciever driving a pair of their Mach One speakers, My Onyo HT System with Energy Refference connoisseur 5.1 speakers and a 200w/10" Sub (for DD 5.1 music video's it is amazing), To my current Bryston Stereo Amp and Refference 3A Speakers for stereo music.

It's the music I love, not the system, once I reach a certian level of SQ. Even the Pioneer stereo system in my GMC Terrian has had me singing out loud out of shear joy when I hear my favourite Tunes, Like Heart's "Crazy on You".

I love my many Sherwood receivers and AR's But recently got a nice Pioneer SX 850 and some JBL's I pair my L-96's with a late model AR-xp62 speaker that has an aluminum 6.5" woofer and dome tweeter. Nice pairing.

Upstairs I was using my AR 2ax with JBL 20-T but the tweeter was shorting in the AR's so I put up my AR4x.

I am going to bypass the selector knob and go straight to the crossovers with the Help of AKer "Slow Pat" who sold me a lot of my equipment. I turn them all the way up so I might as well by pass it.

I'm totally satisfied with my main system. I haven't changed anything in it for about three years. I've been finding some good stuff lately and I'm getting pretty close on my garage system too.

Love may be too strong a word but I am certainly quite pleased with where my main system is at (see sig). It's certainly no slouch in the power department and I've thrown a few bucks at it :music:

However, someday.... when the funds permit I would like to hear some L220s pounding away somewhere in the house.... maybe powered by a nice tube amp

Yes quite satisfied. Its just which one I choose to listen to. Like many other AKers I have more than one system in the house. They all sound different and I love them all but always looking to see what else I can throw into the mix, just...well just because. :D

I love my headphones. I hate my room and therefore none of my speaker choices to date have quite worked.

Yes, my system serves me well. I really would like to have a better listening space for proper setup. I had to buy "near field" speakers to fit the space.

Satisified ?

Very ! Upgrades ? Not in the plans right now but am going OCD batshit over trannie hum that has always been there, very very low ...but dammit, I know its there...

So I guess I am 99.27% satisfied. the other .78% will be there soon !!!

Pretty pleased

I just finished cleaning and tweaking a Realistic 2080 and refoaming 2 sets of large advents. I was amazed at the sound and clarity. I keep reading and looking at other receivers and speakers but what I have now is very sweet. Love to hear what others have,

Thanks, everyone, I enjoyed the replies. I think it is hard to be satisfied in any hobby, at least its hard for me. So I'm enjoying this multi-year stretch with this gear, kind of unusual for me. :-)

Some of my stuff is going to be banned. But there is actually a lot of gear that I love - as far as we can "love" something which is material.

I love mine too, when I am away from it or can't listen for some reason, I really yearn to listen to it - it really is quite addictive for me. I have 4 choices of source, and am thinking of adding the ability to play computer based files to this.

Yes, but I will love it more when I get the extension room built so I can put it in a proper room without **** everywhere.

Not quite, my speakers are ****. That's mostly due to the fact that it's quite hard to find anything decent around here, less yet for around the $15 I would be willing to spend.

I'm satisfied. All three systems (2 stereo, 1 HT) deliver exceptional sound and at age 65, I have no plans to update, upgrade, or replace. And thankfully there's no extraneous equipment to rotate in and out. Really, I'm just grateful for being granted the opportunity and luxury of being able to listen to any music I want with a more than passing degree of realism. We should all be grinning.

Me too. Like your attitude.
