Just wondering if some of you fishermen out there have some shots of your game fish catches?

37" King Salmon...close to 30 lbs.

The Great Lakes are just that...Great for fishing!

Whatever that fish is, he's got the saws-all out to cut it up! That's some dinosaur looking fish there!

In the pic below is the world record Northern Pike that was caught this past year...55+ lbs...the one that is actually hooked is over 3 feet long. The world record one wouldn't let go of it!

It is a sturgeon. I can't imagine why they would keep it, but maybe it fits the slot limit. Personally, my best fish was a 17lb. 8oz. largemouth bass out of the lagoon at Castaic Lake. I have a picture at home, and will try to scan it in this weekend...

Crazy, that doesn't look like any sturgeon I've ever seen...anyone got a name for it? Other than 'fugly'?

EDIT - That's a gar, and they're supposed to be rather tasty, they commercially raise them somewhere...probably in the south.

No picture, but my biggest catch (and release) was a 40-pound sailfish about 10 miles offshore near the Ft. Pierce inlet. :yes: I enjoy offshore boating very much.

My most rare fish ever, Albino bighead carp. Out of the Illinois river in ottawa.

Most fun, would have been this Pike. He was already beat up when I caught him, but the little scrapper also had the unfortunate experience of squirming out of my hands under a pine tree. Poor guy!

Biggest I have landed was some Salmon out of lake ontario on a charter , 30 lbs or so but rather boring to bring in , it was late august so don't know if that was the cause . but this last nov we gave it a shot at one on our fave spots for some last gasp fishing before ice , day trip , hooked a nice pike , 10-12 lbs maybe , buddy landed a big lake trout . Both released as quick as possible to live on I hope . Lots more fun than the big stocked Salmon .Plus we weren't expecting much that day , just an excuse to get out for the last ride , made it special . But buddy hooked into something that was much larger than either of those fish , got off at the boat , never saw it , and it was blamed on the camera man's rod not being removed in a timely fashion . But one thing about november fishing , no small fish , all big hogs looking to beef up for the winter . I will be taking some vacation next fall

My dad loved to fish - here is one he caught at the Lake of the Ozarks. He had a bass stuffed back in the 60's. We used to hang a Christmas ornament from it's mouth each year.
