Came in a big brown box from UPS and the best part is I have no idea who sent it just a note enjoy from your secret santa`s?:scratch2:
After sitting down last night and A B ing 2 of them, Morrison Hotel with my VG++ and then the 180G as well as Soft Parade VG+ and the 180G all I can say is WOW! The soundstage and the depth of the 180G vinyl is amazing. The background is incredible even at low volumes, the mids and highs are impeccable and the lows complete and warm. I`m very impressed so far and I cant wait to spin the rest of them! I only have one other 180G`er to compare these to and it`s good but doesn`t hold a candle to these recordings.
I think I know who sent this and even though I don`t think it was from here I really appreciate the gift and had to share with all of you as you guy`s have all been great to this used to be Newbie!!

Merry Christmas to the Best Karmic Audio site on the web!! :thmbsp::yes:

SS gift wow! You must have been very, very good! That is by no means an inexpensive gift. I hear the mono version of the first album is really nice.

I like them too, there was a period in my life that they were all I listened to. I have collected most there cd's, at least the ones I have found. I would love to pick up a few on vinyl someday.

I tend to like there live albums the most. Here is a list of the ones I have picked up over the years.

Wow Wow Wow!!! Guy`s all I can say is if you get the opportunity to get this box set do Not pass it up! The re-mastering of these LP`s is amazing! After having listened to all 7 LP`s I am even more impressed than before, they are sonically and accousticaly as near perfect as I have heard an LP in many decades! The soundstage is clear as a bell and I now am going to have to upgrade from my DL-160 to a better cart to see just how good they really are. There are things in the background that I never knew were there on the original recordings. The mids and highs are very (I hate to use the word bright) forward and full and the bass is most pleasant with no muddiness or discoloration as with some recordings. BTW guy`s watch Barnes&Noble after Christmas if you are a member they will have extra discounts on top of their members discount and you can order this online fairly cheaply.

All I can say is Get This!!
