Double-sided adhesive tape.

No light shines through where the tape is, and the tissue tape is really thin. Maybe too thin to work with. Either would probably work well.

I may pick up some of each. I have a few people that ask for new vellum now and then.

I know 3M makes a thin almost clean double side tape and they also make tape that has foam in the center of two sticky sides. There is that other company that you can use to stick things with that has a tab if you want to break the two surfaces free. You pull on the tab stretching the tape making it break from the surfaces with out damaging them.

Been using left over ‘frost king’ double sided tape from window insulation for lots of stuff for years. Clear, thin and very good grip.

3M auto body tape for things that need a bit of wiggle, also grips and holds very strong.

Yea I put up plastic on the windows...... The Frost King Tape is really good but too good and hard to get off the trim, I think that's why 3M is still in the game, their tape holds great but it's also easy to pull off.
