Dual 1019 start problems

Not even close, Roman. I am on my cell phone and going to bed. Remind me tomorrow, New York City time, and I can snap a pic for you. I fix these things by the dozens, so there are at least a few here at the moment.

Now when i start it the needle stays on the record for about 1 second then lifts up and goes back to start position. And when move the control to stop it stops and then starts again. It wont stop unless i unplug it.

Just a thought, I worked on a later model Dual that did the same thing. I traced it to the "start" lever which had dried grease locking it in the "start" position. I took it apart, cleaned it and greased it. Works fine now.
