Dual 1229

I’ve been servicing my 1229 and had this tiny bowed lock washer appear and can’t seem to find it in the exploded view. Any assistance you can give will be appreciated.

Looks like it goes on the "Idler" to keep it from wandering.

Those washers are used under a clip on a shaft and they are used to keep whatever is being held on the shaft from moving along the shaft. Biased one way, in other words. I wouldn't think it would be used on the idler wheel shaft because of the added friction which you don't want in that location. I guess you never know, though.
