IMHO, way too much. The 1257 is a later belt drive turntable that I would not put in the same league as the earlier 1219, 1229, etc tables. There are also no pictures of the dustcover. Furthermore, no use is probably worse than regular use when it comes to issues of grease hardening and rubber components drying out.

Might make sense for a collector, but I wouldn't buy it for use.

Just looked, there is a beautiful condition one of those on CL here in Phoenix. complete, for half that price. In fact, there are two for $100ea.

Agree with everybody else, overpriced by half. The cartridge is missing, and it's proprietary - a standard 1/2" mount won't fit without an adaptor. Available, but pricey. I'd pass.

I had myself an 1254. For very short time - the 125x-Duals are not really good Duals. You can listen LPs with them, allright. It won't scratch your discs, ok. But it has not the breath-taking, heart-shaking "punch" of an old idler wheel rumbler like a 1218 or 1219. Or even a 1249 belt drive.
