But... I do have one Oasis CD, mfg in Japan, I like. Even played it twice. Twice was enough.

A dumb response I hear frequently when shopping is "no problem" in response to a "thank you" from me.

Of course it's not an effin' problem. Those at the register are paid to take my money and treat me politely. Is it too much to say, "You're welcome"?

I work in IT, had a client call me and explain the issue he was having.

He asked me if I thought I could fix the issue.

I said that we were, "Going to give it the ol' college try..."

He responded with, "I didn't go to college..."
