pat5 parts

Hi
I want to refurbish my pat 5 by changing all caps.
You should e able to get buttons on flee bay if you search for a few months. Knobs are a hard one....Get replacements one if you can live with it. You should be able to make a suitable on-off switch fit in with mods. Good luck.

Hey, Thanks for the reply. Yeah, there's some knobs and buttons on ebay now, but $9.99 each, plus shipping is a bit much for my slim wallet. I'll keep a looking though. Thanks Again.

dynaco

aktika.com has many dynaco parts particularly if you want an upgrade.
They helped me upgrade my dynaco pat-4 preamp.
Also a new amp similar to the older dynaco power amps.

HeyPaul, Are you sure of the spelling? I couldn't find that website.

I have push buttons and knobs. 2 large knobs, 4 small knobs and 8 black push-buttons.
No switch.

PM me if interested.

Refurbishing a Dynaco Pat-5

I will replace all caps in my Dynaco Pat-5 with the same or better grade. Question is should I change all the other resistors to metal film? i notce the bifet version uses the same boards. So I will replace the few parts that are different and add a high/low phono switch I will also replace the opamp to a bifet type LF412MH. Now I will have a bifet pat-5.
