The cabinet may be from one of the mail-order catalog stores back in the day... like Allied or Lafayette. I bought a tape deck off CL awhile back, and was given the small console it was in. It came from Lafayette, as a generic "Danish modern" cabinet, with spaces and doors/panels for TT mounting and access, record storage, and component "rack" mounting (without the actual rack). This has a similar look.
