you kidding? what are the tubes so? I have a complete original set of Eico HF-81 tubes collecting dust in closet. all Mullard 12AX7, 12AU7, 6BM8 (El84) and EZ81s

buy it if its still available but at that price if listed on c/l it probally is gone by now.
No it's a garage sale actually and will be there till the next ice age if I don't buy it

At the moment I am using a rehabilitated ST-40 as my daily driver; it will need a little work but it is a very respectable amplifier.
Unless one or more of the transformers is bad or the amp is in horrible condition... it would be a shame to gut it just for the tubes.

if its in tne condition you say im sure there are a number of us who would be happy to get it at that price if you dont want it.would you be willing to pick it up and ship it?

The value of the tubes alone was mentioned to illustrate the value of the item above and beyond the asking price.

even the knobs could sell for a good price as alot of the times theyre cracked or missing the insets.
