Eico ST-40 Kit

I have a chance to buy an ST-40 kit, it's complete with unopened tubes the works. I know the value of the assembled ST-40's, what's the value of one unassembled? Thanks

Unbuilt kits usually sell easily for twice what of what the assembled amps sell for, especially if the kit is complete.

I'm not looking to build the ST-40, I'm trying to figure out if $450 is a good,bad or great deal.

It's not a bad deal. My thinking is that it may sell for $800. Just go through the components with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything is in there. We were witness to a HK Citation kit story a few years ago where an AK'er bought a kit on eBay and it was missing half of the parts despite the seller claims.

The NOS 7591 tubes are at least worth $250-$300 by themselves, not to mention the rest of the tubes in the kit.
