Augy here... Great thread you got going!!! I just raided it!!! THanks... got tons of new and old stuff to check out... A pretty nice list indeed!!!

In return I am going to turn you guys onto a thread on the discussion forums in AMAZON - Call it Lounge, downtempo , Nu jazz chillout or whatever!!! This thread started a while ago in FEB. but has almost 1000 posts all types of electronic music but not dance music Although oddly enough it is in the dance music forums ....electronic oriented music that has many genra's Dub , Jazz , Funk, Brazilian, Lounge, Chill, Drum'nbass , Ambient, trip hop, some rap... you get the idea. You guys should check it out 40 something pages of suggestions.

Hey Zero....Its been a while.....You gave me a lot of good tips in the beginning and I thank you ! How are things? Nice to see you finally have an electronic thread in audiokarma. Now if you can get some of the jazz lovers to post some of their electronic favorites.....

A few of my favorite electronic artists over time are....

Jens buchert / Sven Van Hees / Christophe Goze / Boozoo Bajou / Thievery Corp. / Massive Attack / Moorcheeba / De Phazz / Dzihan & Kamien / Wax Poetic / Desmond Williams / Fila Brazillia / William Orbit / Beth Orten / Tosca / Waldeck / Dining Rooms / Nacho Sotomayor / Bonobo / Moodorama / Mo Horizons / Lux / Afterlife / Blue States / Hacienda / Cottonbelly / S- Tone / Blue Foundation / Yonderboi / Evolve / Beanfield / Lemongrass / Org Lounge / Blu Mar Ten / Alif Tree / Nor Elle / Mescalito / Angel Tears / Kaya Project / Banzai Republic / Fragile State / Sounds from the ground / Billy Paul Williams / Quantic / Cinematic Orchestra / Groove collective / Ralph Myerz / Bobby Hughes / Adani & Wolf / Boards of Canada/ God is an astronaut / Lanterna / Another Fine Day / Pentatonik / Kinobe / Nick Warren / Mick Chillage /

Starting to draw a blank but that should keep most going for a while. Just a small contribution to the thread.....Enjoy!!!!

These are my lp's that come to mind when you say Electro.
I'm working on getting a good chunk of the Street Sounds Electro albums(vol 1-17) Those compilations were dope!

Egyptian Lover - On the Nile
Cybotron- Enter
Twilight 22 - Twilight 22
Afrika Bambaata - Planet Rock
Midnight Star - No parking on the dance floor
Freestyle - Freestyle

I usually bust out my electro albums on fridays to get hyped up.
Peace,
Paul Z
