Probably some of the earliest techno music ever made.

On the subject of techno and house history, I was very sad to read that Frankie Knuckles died. Only a couple of days before he had been playing at the Ministry of Sound. Here's a well written piece about his legacy: http://www.residentadvisor.net/feature.aspx?2086

Fantastic Plastic Machine - "FPM" (2009 - download)

Fantastic Plastic Machine is a Japanese DJ/electro artist that's been around since the mid '90's. Great album, this one. True electro. What's going on today with everybody sounding like Skrillex has totally gotten old. FPM isn't like that (No anime). Worth checking out if you can actually find his stuff.

Not outdated, incredibly high quality production, I dare you to listen and tell me otherwise.

You know what? It ain't my particular cup of chai but the production is crisp like you say. Keep 'em coming!
