Electro-Voice Speakers

[leray1]

I'm looking for some cheap, but decent speakers to use at my work bench. These are kind of big...but what can you tell me about these based on this CL ad? Good deal?

mhardy will probably show up; EV expert and looks like he has one of these.

those cabinets might be a bit small. looks like the 12B is often paired with a tweeter, so it may not be full range.

Decent speakers....cabinet size is Ok but probably at the smaller end of the scale for them...

If the cabs are nice they might be worth $100 but I'd rather see like $75

What are you planning to drive them with?
IIRC the "B" models only want like 25 watts or so
