Empire 598 III?

[AZab]

I think this is an Empire 598 III. But what is a good price for it? Ebay is selling anywhere from $200-600.

[Starquest]

That's likely a 598 series I judging by the old Empire logo on the cabinet.

Any idea on a descent price for it if it is in good condition?

If you can buy it for around $300.....that would be a decent deal.

Sounds good. It is at an estate auction so hopefully it isn't prices too high.

Very nice TT and rare. Hopefully you can grab it.

Up to $300, could be anywhere from a steal to decent deal as mentioned. If its an auction, just hope nobody else there knows the value and you could be in steal territory.

Sorry I meant sale, not auction. It is only a 2 day sale and I cannot go the second day. I might got late afternoon and hopefully it is still there. Then I can haggle a little off hopefully.

Well, did you have any luck?

The sale starts Wednesday. I will tell you what happens.

Fingers crossed for you!

Me too but the estate sale knows what kind of turntable it is and probably has it priced high....

[AZab]

Damn it. The estate sale listing took down the photo of the Empire TT...maybe they realized what they had.

Or a family member decided to keep it. Worth stopping by, anyway, if it's not too inconvenient.
