Epik Monitor Systems ?

[Drugolf]

Speaker brand I've never heard of and can't find anything on. Apparently they were from Walnut Creek, CA. Anybody know anything about them? Mid 90's. The had a Jr. and Sr. size TL speaker they called Monitor.

Anybody?

These are pretty special and large speakers. they are 55" high and 16" square. 3-way with Scan Speak woofer. Considerable crossover network. Beautiful birdseye maple exterior finish cabinet. The woofer bin portion is about 2.5" thick solid hardwood. Van den Hul Silver wire.

I had to get the woofers rebuilt as both were locked up. The folks at Speaker Repair Pros did a great job.

Would love to track down the original designers to get some idea of the design.

I've never heard of them, but they look very nice, with good drivers and solid cabinetry. Most importantly, how do they sound?

There have been hundreds of great speakers that never made commercial success over the years. This may be one of those or something more.
