Equipment for bench testing

You can drop over $20K on a loaded AP system... they are the Rolls Royce of the category.

And of course the question begs to be asked---=-=--Are they worth it?? I know , not a question you can answer.

Absolutely... but we were using them both for development (power amps, processors) and production quality control, where the ability to run preprogrammed parameter tests quickly and consistently paid for the hardware and the time spent writing the programs was easily justified.

Quite a consensus there fellas, I thank you for your counsel. With the White Oak conversions I'm doing on the Phase stuff I've made a lot of claims based on my limited test equipment. I believe it would be the right thing to do to be able to run a standard battery of before and after testing from an instrument that has printout capabilities, and whose accuracy is respected. I believe my mind is made up now, thanks again guys.

It appears to be everythging you guys said it would be. Thanks.

packed with dust inside. A good cleaning is in order before I use it.

I used to use an FM generator of the same era from Panasonic. It was nice. That's nice too. Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for that one?
