Ess ps-9c

Have dug a pair of ESS PS-9C out of the attic.

The web gives very little info on them and the ESS website does not list them at all.

Anybody know what other speakers might use the same ribbon driver?

It's been a while, but I had a pair of PS12Cs that had a slightly different tweeter. It's the model number that I'm not sure of, I'm pretty certain of the tweeter being a little different looking.

The lesser Heils still sounded great to me.:D

Even though they may look a little different, I don't think there were too many diaphragm sizes for teh smaller speakers. If it is blown, I'd contact ESS for the part number, but this one may fit:

#689-1109

They list a couple of places where you can get them. I've got a pair of PS-8's that are still going strong. Loved the little ESS speakers!
