I understand H on K33H is for Hysteresis
I've seen this ROK model. With a larger plinth it looks beautful. The ROK arm is far from beautiful, though, but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Easy to tell which by using string to measure actual length of the belt track and reducing that measurement enough to provide belt tension. Maybe one of the two numbers will work out.
Well. Took a thin cable & stretched it around the platter & pulley. Was about 38-1/2" around. How much should I trim to get proper tension?

There are a few different adjustments to actual measurement. One site says 10% less.

I used that calculator. Used both the .95 and .97. Closest I came was to the 37.5 belt. I called Turntable Needles and gave them my length. They also recommended the 37.5 belt. Funny that as long as Gray TT have been around no one has a definitive size for them.

The 38" belt from Esoteric Sound works on my Gray turntable.
Just weighing my options to get as close to original as I can.

There is more than one Gray turntable. Anyone dropping a belt size should hopefully drop a measurement of the belt path with a string for comparison of actual length and belt length to help provide info for belt tension. Maybe you guys could check the string length to help out Gary on his Gray.

What did you measure for a belt?
Haven't been to the store to get some rope. Used a thin wire looped around the platter & motor pully. Came up with 38 3/4"

Thin wire works fine. Seems you need a 35-37” belt without me doing any of the recommended math to determine size.

With such a long belt, most inner platter or rim on main platter tables are in the 20-25” range, I would tend to believe the 35.1 number. Plenty of stretch needed to make it fit vs not enough to keep it taut if you use a 38 or 37.5” belt.
If the table doesn’t have speed adjusting, belt thickness is key to proper speed. The FRX for the PK-33 is .035” thick. The width is 0.184” and the next one up in the line is .250” wide and might be too much for the pulley.
I’d search for a deal on an FRX 35.1 and try it.

I've been pondering which way to go, 35.1", 37"or 38". May go low first.

It should. They are supplying an FBM, flat belt medium and the speed belt is FRX. There may be no difference or the FBM could be .040 vs .031 thick. This will have a minor change is speed. The FBN might also be .031 as both show up in the catalog. I’d give it a try.
Just dropped the order for it. We'll see what we get.
