Those speakers actually are something very special! And that is the original baffle paint, it's more like a grayish blue than black. Pop out the drivers and you'll see some quality pieces. Great score though on the amp and tuner!
 
So, I picked up a can of "Nevr-Dull" last night and gave the amp and tuner another cleaning. It took off all the stuff the spray cleaner left behind! They look almost new! Now to break out the "De-Oxit" and clean the volume control, and install the new feet when they come in and they will be ready to go! 20190409_075731.jpg

The guy I bought them from just got them recently. Then he had to move into a smaller apt, and didn't have room for them. He is a DJ, and needed money to buy a Technics SL-1200. But you're right. I see lots of stuff for sale on line that are dusty and dirty and only need a little TLC to be worth a lot more.
