Favorite Bruce Springsteen song?

An excellent question as therer are so many from which to choose. I'll have to think about this for a bit.

An excellent question as there are so many from which to choose. I'll have to think about this for a bit...

...favorite Springsteen album is Darkness On The Edge Of Town, so maybe one of its tracks..."Candy's Room"? Also very fond of several tracks on The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle...maybe "New York City Serenade" or "4th of July, Asbury Park"? "Atlantic City" and "Used Cars" from Nebraska are also among the contenders.

I really like the live version of the River with the story about he and his Dad before that. That story and then the song are a perfect match.

There are just too may great ones to choose from especially since the versions he does in concert are often very different from what's on disc.
Jungleland, Badlands, Trapped, Because the Night, Fire, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out,

Trying to choose one is impossible, but here are a few of my top-level favorites:
Spirits in the Night, Atlantic City, Racing in the Street, The Rising, Streets of Philadelphia, The River, Blinded by the Light, I'm On Fire... I could go on and on.

Wow, too many to choose from, but my favorites:
Jungleland
Youngstown-especially a live version from the DVD, Live in New York.
The River-did a white boy ever sound any more mournful than this song?
Rosie, come out tonight!

And the wife likes Born to Run, and every song he ever recorded.

Yup, hard to choose just one, as his music touches one on so many levels (And not like Michael Jackson touches you!) and evokes so many different responses...

Hardly a bad track on 'Born To Run' or 'Darkness On The Edge Of Town'. "Candy's Room" & "Racing In The Street" never fail to get me to stop what I'm doing and listen, even though Bruce doesn't know jack about motors - "I've got a '69 Chevy with a 396, Fuelie heads and a Hurst on the floor" Anybody else know what's wrong with that picture?
