Favorite tools on the workbench?

Hmm I have a huge pile of tools but I would have to say my little 4ounce Ball Pen hammers (I got two) and a Snap on 1/2"- 9/16" round shank box end wrench would have to be two of my favorite hand tools. For power tools my 2x72" Belt grinder that I made knives on for 14 years as a full time Knifemaker I can do stuff with that thing that ranges from art work to simple fabrication.

In my case it's usually just a place i can't do anything on because its full of junk that doesn't belong there.

I've been known to resemble that remark...

My must-have bench accessory.

Two wooden clothes pegs (they don't melt) glued down at angles. No burnt fingers ever! A spring clamp on a screw pivot and a small alligator flush to the wood on a tight pivot screw. A series of holes up to 1/4" to hold RCAs, 1/4" plugs whatever you want. Position weird pieces you are gluing/soldering together. Thin felt feet on the bottom. Put anywhere, even inside gear while you re-attach/solder difficult parts.

Won't tip over, non-conductive, is easy to grab and costs nothing to make. Patent free! Make one now! :)

We have a fair number of things with pneumatic tires.

This has become one of the most used, most convenient tools I have. My favorite? Dunno if I really have a favorite but this could be. It's quite handy.

Stock photo but it's what I'm talking about. Milwaukee M18 air compressor/inflator.

Can only make mention of my "FLUKE" Series II MULTIMETER as a reliable testing tool that's never let me down for the past 25 years. It was expensive for me at the time, overbuying I guess?...but was told it would be worth it.

It's tough, accurate and has saved me so much time/money in the past, paying for itself over the long run of time.

It's been my fav tool!

Is it an Estwing? I like those.

I have a leather-stacked handle one somewhere in the garage. :)

Looks like this one I found on the Net.
My dad was a carpenter and his favorite hammer looked just like that. One of my siblings has it now, probably my older sister who makes violins as a hobby. She has his good planes...

I have a 16 oz Estwing just like that. Belonged to my wifes grandfather.
I also have the 20 oz framing hammer, bought new, with the blue handle. Excellent hammers.

87III, Old Faithful!

I spent the weekend cleaning out the tool tray on one of my benches. Easier said than done, it becomes a total catch-all of all kinds of stuff. I built trays into both of my benches, knowing full well that they'd become cluttered....and they do !
