Works great, I just have better in use. This was originally purchased to give to my son for it's ease of use, he now has my AR XA instead![]()
Nice looking unit! Well, one day...
Not at all. I'm honestly curious if you can actually hear differences in let’ssay a phono cartridge or interconnects or the other stuff people post videos of. I've listened to a few A-B videos of things like that and the poster was adamant it was a night and day difference, they sounded the same to me.

But yeah whatever I listen to on my computer sounds like my computer speakers.
Specific to phono cables, I suspect much can be explained with knowing how different the capacitance of the various cables are. This matters more with MM than LOMC but it's definitely a parameter that can have big effects.

I think the point is to hear about the great experience that Stehek is having with the SUT and the Audio Technica OC9XML. Along with the EAR phono stage, which looks to be either a DIY build, or one of the Ebay sourced boards. Awesome story and I am glad to hear about such positive results! The current generation of OC9 cartridges are quite good, and it sounds like you are going to have a lot of satisfying hours ahead of you listening to vinyl.
In English, when you said Dove are you talking about the bird or do you mean Dived?
I remember at school I would be given a red mark if I used "dove" instead of " dived", my teacher said that is not proper English, someone commented the other day that I said " twice " instead of " two times ", I suppose as with all people we are proud of our heritage and as I am English, born and bred in England, I don't like to hear my language distorted. sorry for the rant, let us get back to the audio now. What to Know
The older past tense of dive is dived, which is still standard in British English. Using dove as the past tense of dive began in the 1800s, and is now standard in American English. Both forms are correct today, but you should be aware of regional preference.

Yes your right, but imagine how it would irritate you if things about your country were said wrong, what I wanted to know was , how are you liking the MC cartridge? I have come about as far as I can with MM and not sure where to start in the world of MC.I don't understand the pickiness. As long as the message gets across, that's all that should matter. Right?![]()

and feel they need to correct people? And I have even been told that the Americans think "Bison" are "Buffalo" Oh what a laugh.Have you ever been to America? Being such a melting pot "our" language is misused all the time, can you imagine some even think dived is correct and dove is incorrectand feel they need to correct people?
