First Sansui Receiver 7070

[oldtubes]

Got my first Sansui receiver. It is a nice 7070, all lights still work and only a few scratches on the face plate. So far I real like the way it sounds.

Hey whats up man! Welcome to the sui forum! Thats a nice receiver you got there. A step up from what you have underneath it....... The 7070 is a very affordable piece and worth more than you can get one for IMHO. What did you pay for it?

I have the 8080 and I am sure yours sounds just as good as mine. I really like the Sansui sound as well.
Time for both of us to get a few more.

Congrats, oldtubes! :thmbsp:

The 7070 is what I consider Sansui's best value receiver -- just the right combo of features, a terrific tuner and just enough power to get you into trouble. And, it usually flies under the radar at low prices.

Paul79, I got it for $20 at a flea market. Its sit on top of my Marantz stack. It does better than most of the Marantz stack but run ito some stiff competition with the Marantz 2270 and 2325. It is my second peice of Sansui equipment. I also have a BA-2000 amp.
