Fisher 101-R tuner w/original tubes

I have the Fisher 4000-R (same as the 101-R) but came out of a console. It truly is a nice tuner and runs strong to this day. (My signature picture is a photo I took of it's dial).

I'm not familiar with that tuner, but it looks like a pretty good one. I use that MX-99 with my Fisher 600, & it's a great little adaptor.

Somebody should be running! That's the very first Fisher tuner I've seen with the Marantz faceplate. Read that link in the ad.

Good eye, I completely missed the faceplate, even though something seemed a little "off". Yep, that looks like an even better deal now. ;)

Hi guys - thanks for the comments. I'm the seller for the Fisher/Eico combo. I can assure you both are in original condition, including the transformer on the Eico. I hate to let 'em go actually but I really don't listen to radio at home and have a small listening room so hard to justify the space (though just looking at the Fisher dial lit up sometimes in the dark is entertaining!).

You're definitely right as rain about the Fisher with the Marantz faceplate being a rare bird - I'm also surprised nobody has jumped at this yet. I could probably make a lot more if I pieced out and sold all the original tubes individually but I just don't have the time and these should stay with the original unit in my view - they been there 50 years, who am I to mess with 'em?

Nothing was doing with the Craigslist listing, so I have closed that one down and moved the Fisher/Eico pair to eBay. Listing in case anyone is interested:

That was the wise thing todo, this way you will get international bidders, an we all know that the asian market goes crazy over fisher/marantz stuff. I would have gotten it but with out a completed listing to make sure that this was a fair market price for it, it was hard for me to plunk down 300$ on something that maybe be worth half that. Good luck with it.
