Another alternative is to buy some decorative mesh sheeting (usually to cover vents, etc) at a hardware or big box home improvement store and use it. It's usually aluminum and you can easily cut it to fit the case with shears or even heavy scissors. Here's an example of this on a Fisher case that I did.
