Thanks Larry! I was able to free the TT from the mounting board and have it set up in my repair jig that allows me to rotate it freely (top to bottom). I think I'll probably send the idler off to Terry Witt to have it resurfaced while I work on the rest of the TT. Although the idler is still surprisingly soft for its age, I think it would be best to have it rebuilt.

Dave can you post a pic of your repair jig? I have done several TT rebuilds and I just put them up on paint cans for top work and set them on edge for underneath work. It's very risky and difficult to deal with.
