Fisher Wood Cabinet Question

Are all Fisher receiver wood cabinets the same size and interchangeable like the WC-22 is for Marantz?

More specifically, will a 400 cabinet fit s 500 receiver?

The basic cabinet fits the 800,500,400 for width and height. Due to the differences in depth of the individual units (the 800 being deeper than the 500, and 500 being deeper than the 400), a 500 will have less underhang in the back than a 400.

Thanks for the answer. Are the holes for the feet the same? In Marantz, the feet holes are not in the same place for some models.

I don't want to start a new thread on a similar Fisher question. Forgive me. :)

Will the X101B cabinet fit either the kx200 or 500c?

The larger answer is that integrated cabinets are also compatible, though some of the cutout holes in the bottom don't line up with cutout holes in the chassis bottom panel and sometimes the bolts don't line up.

The holes underneath may not line up but there should be enough ventilation anyway. I've gotten one that's not compatible to work by using the two rear bolt holes only, some rubber feet cut (close to) in half, some big washers to crush the rubber feet and hold it all together with the cabinet wood and some threaded bolts (not sure . .. 6/32 or 8/32 by 1 or 1 1/2 I think).

Check what's below the screws in the chassis if they're too long before screwing down tight. I've screwed through replacement capacitors before that are in the chassis because the Fisher integrated chassis is tight.

Thats good to hear. I'm wanting to dress up the kx200.
I have the bottom piece to compare holes.
As usual, thanks.
