Recently I found a good tech and finally had someone qualified go through this. Spent a bit of time cleaning and polishing and voila!

My Dual 1229 should be back soon. Let the games begin!

Very nice! I run a Thorens and a Dual 1229 as well. MC on the Thorens and MM on the Dual.
