Just one question though, why is it people give gifts to you and the wife, and it's like some crystal bowl or something, like it's for the both of you? Ya never see a husband and wife gift like a cordless drill or a saw or a set of speakers. Why IS this

I like to give good olive oil, wine, vineagar etc that hopefully will be used up fairly quickly. After a certain amount of time people tend to have enough STUFF and want to pick out their own STUFF if they want STUFF.
Consumables are great gifts!
