15155 in the house and spinning!

Right before C I bought a killer collection and there was one Dead album in it. Live/Dead. It's a 1973 Winchester press reissue with the Burbank labels. Vinyl is very nice and quiet so far. I listened to Dark Star last night and I'll spin the rest later tonight.

My first listen was Dark Star on Live Dead. 40 years later and who knows how many spins or how many versions I hear, Dark Star continues to move me in every way. I love it.

How about a little Howard and Jerry.

I read the Bear biography recently, so I've been listening to various CDs from the "Bear's Sonic Journals" collection (Johnny Cash, Joplin, Allman Bros & New Riders) - good stuff.
So I went back to one of his CD recordings of the GD - "Bear's Choice" (Filmore East 1970) ... quite nice.
