Grill Cloth

I am looking to recover my JBL Apollo C51 grills. Wanting a vintage look. Please help me make a decision. Maybe a tan like the old Fender amps. Thanks

Used this just last night:

It has a slightly rough or textured look and feel. Very high quality, deep black almost exactly the same as what is on my 30 year old ADS L1230s. Definitely not the washed out "black" spandex that a lot of the cheaper grill fabric that you can buy or that newer speakers use.

I'm going to be using that black Mellotone for my DCM Time Window 3's, it's not cheap, and I'll need 3 yds, but it should look the best, but I think a tan color on those speakers would definitely look more "vintage".

If you really want a "vintage" look try the 18 count linen from 123 Stitch. It comes in several colors and the "Lambs Wool" matches some 40 year old speaker cloths. Well you said you wanted vintage
