Haiku

[Apreggiator]

String theory is just a quantum Stratocaster

Vacuum hums softly
Vast conscience strums silver frets
Sound forms time and space

[Apreggiator]

Killswitch Engage

Promised flying cars
Instead, the slop learns my face
And sells it for ads

[bobsvinyl]

AI-AI OWE

The long lost highway
Snaking through dying mill towns,
Filled with broken lives.
There can still be redemption.
With a new data center.

[bobsvinyl]

De-vision

Eyes stutter like flames
Not receiving oxygen.
Can they still focus
On things that are important,
Or remain sightless and stunned?

[bobsvinyl]

Partner

Head was hanging low,
Low enough to touch the ground.
Time was standing still
Still enough to stop the world,
But your love changed all of this.

String theory is just a quantum Stratocaster

Vacuum hums softly
Vast conscience strums silver frets
Sound forms time and space

Loved the melding of two worlds of thought!

EARTH'S REVENGE

We've scarred your surface
polluted your fresh waters
and tainted your air
but push back you have started
now with ultimate pay back.

Poetic elements lack with focus on message.

[Apreggiator]

Stain

Restless brief species
Writes its smoke across the sky
Time forgets the ink

Stain

A brief species
Writes its smoke across the sky
Time forgets the ink

Super metaphoric usage!

TEDIUM

Minutes turn into
hours, as days become now
fleeting seconds passing by
elders whose good days are gone.

Q

Absurd...but true for the main part.

RBMC

A smile breaks forth
A twisted bastard grin.
Devoid of humor,
Anchored in subtle sarcasm
And narcissistic bombast.

[bobsvinyl]

Train Station

Commuters, sheep like,
Huddle against the bone cold.
The ride to New York
Had become a dreaded trip
Of hopeless repetition.

Royal Bank Mortgage Corporation?
Or
Black Rebel Motocycle Club?

Royal Bank Mortgage Corporation?
Or
Black Rebel Motocycle Club?

Good guesses. Actually they are my late father-in-law's initials.

Reminded me of a sergeant from my past!

You nailed your subject in mind.

Quite the character..

Commuters, sheep like,
Huddle against the bone cold.
The ride to New York
Had become a dreaded trip
Of hopeless repetition.

"Sheep" we are, oft times wishing to be "Wolves".

Two thousand poems
mentally crafted with sharp
neuro-type chisels.
