Hana EL or EH?

I think I'll just need to wait and hope they answer soon enough. It would be a damn pity, after all the sleepless (and workless!) hours I put into this!
(PS. Sorry I got so off the thread subject!)

Ordered my OC9 from LPGear in the wee hours of Mon morning, Mar 4. It shipped the next day. I got it today, Thu, Mar 7. LPGear is located in Henderson, NV (i.e. Las Vegas). I'm in so. Calif.

I'm currently wrestling with this issue as well, except I intend to get both. The question is, which turntable gets the LOMC?

I have a Music Hall mmf-2.2 and an Audio Technica AT-LP140XP. I would like to put the LOMC on the 140 since it's currently my primary turntable for vinyl ripping. However, when I was asking AT about what LOMC of their would work well on it, they actually said that the 140's noise floor was too high for a LOMC and that I'd have hum issues. Still, I have to wonder if AT wasn't just being conservative, since I've seen people putting even Denon DL-103 cartridges on higher-end Hanpins without ill effects.

That would make some sense if the AT turntable had a built-in phonostage which was mm-only. However, as far as I know, that turntable doesn't have a built-on phonostage and AT's comment makes no sense to me.

I’m wondering if the 140 might have some issues in the grounding department. I did have to send the first one I got back to Zzounds because there was a loud buzz. The second one was way quieter but not entirely noise free.
