Thanks Everyone!!

I really appreciate the birthday wishes, problem is, once again I'm closer to 50 than 40, yuk!! Time to fire up the 604 Altecs for some easy listening, Dave.

Happy Birthday Dave! Hope your get a chance to play with the Altecs!

Well, we played the 604's with the Dark Side of the Rainbow DVD. When my daughter was in High School a couple years ago, she studied the 100 or so known snyc's between the DSOTM and the Wizard of Oz, she would let me know what to watch and listen for, some were amazing!! Although we listened in stereo since I don't own any surround gear, it still sounded excellent, there's some distortion on the third start of DSOTM but it only lasts for a couple minutes and returns to nice clear quality sounds again after the heart beats. The video quality is also excellent, all in all, an excellent B'day present to myself, Dave.

Little late to the party, but as another one gettin' close to Ze Beeg 5-0, don't worry, it's a helluva lot better than NOT turning 50...-Sandy G.
