Hard to find headshell (PL-41)

Hi all!

Hoping the AK community can help me out. Been slowly fixing up/re-repairing an old Pioneer PL-41. I’ve had a janky headshell for a while and would like to finally get the real deal. Problem is it’s hard to find the original headshell these days. Newer ones are also far too light for the counterweight, so I have some coins taped to the top of my current one! If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it

There are titanium-finish alloy headshells on eBay, which have threads for adding weights.

The original SPU-like headshell is very rare indeed. If you need a heavy headshell, I can recommend the Audio-Technica LH series headshells that are available in weights up to 18g.

There is a PL-61 headshell on the Columbus OH craigslist. No affiliation but I saw it yesterday. Not sure if that helps or not.

Those are different. Too light for the original PL-41’s arm.
