Harman Kardon A-402

[pcpinfo]

Hi all--

What can anyone tell me about this amp? I've got a HK 730 already, which I love. Any reason to look into the A-402? Where does it rank in the pantheon?

Thanks!

Luke

It is the same as the amp in the 730. A few little differences in the preamp section, but basically the A-402 is a 730 without the tuner. Great little integrated.

Pretty much as stated above. Nice amplifier.
I have literature on this and should scan it some time.
hk has the owners manual online: http://www.harmankardon.com/images/media/A402_OM_EN.PDF

You could bridge both amplifiers and have a super 730 that would deliver 150 WPC. There are several simple bridge adapter boards available on EBay.
