Harman Kardon Output Balance Potentiometers

Does anyone know where you can get replacement balance pots to equalize the cathode current for the 7355 outputs? I need two for a TA5000X receiver. Schematic shows 50 ohm value.

Unless someone knows of an exact replacement, you'll probably have to improvise with something like this:

Or this:

There are a few other pots at the surplus site link that might work. I don't know the wattage required for this pot, but it can be calculated. You might need to use a 100 ohm and bridge it with a 100 ohm fixed resistor. That would reduce the dissipation of the pot. I would be wary of used parts unless they can be returned.

Got the full schematic? If you change the pot from a 50 to a 100, fair bet there is a resistor someplace that needs tweaking in order to make up for the difference. I don't remember if this particular model runs tube heaters as the cathode resistor or not. If it does, that might be a problem.
