450 or 430? The hk430 is really (really) nice; far superior to any Marantz rx to my tastes. The hk450 is a later product; not bad but not in the same league as the 430.

I had an H-K 450 receiver for a few years .
VERY decent sounding receiver, in my book.
BUT.....I also considered the H-K 450.....to be one of the most butt ugly receivers I've ever seen, IMO!?

The hk330c is also quite nice; 20 wpc and probably (if memory serves) more directly comparable to the hk450. It's strictly entry-level (no frills) but indeed more attractive (to my eyes at least) than the later hk450.
